Privacy policy
Last updated: 21 June 2026
We sell data ownership and privacy for a living, so we hold this site to the same standard. It collects the minimum needed to run the business and improve the product — nothing more. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising tracker, and no third-party tracking script anywhere on this site.
What we collect, and why
- Anonymous usage events. We record basic interactions — page views and key button clicks — to understand which content is useful. These carry no name, email, or other personal identifier.
- A session identifier.A random ID is stored in your browser's local storage so we can understand a single visit's journey (e.g. which page led to an enquiry). It is not linked to your identity unless you choose to contact us, and it is not shared across other websites.
- Details you submit. If you fill in the contact form, we store what you provide — name, email, and any business name, WhatsApp number, tools, or goals you choose to share — solely to respond to your enquiry.
- Chat messages (when our assistant is available). If you use our on-site chat, we log the questions and answers to improve it. Messages are normally processed on our own server; a third-party AI provider is used only as a fallback if our local model is temporarily unavailable.
What we deliberately do not collect
- No IP addresses are logged by the application.
- No Google Analytics or any third-party analytics/advertising script.
- No cross-site tracking cookies and no device fingerprinting.
- We never sell your data, and we don't share it for advertising.
Cookies and local storage
We use a single, first-party identifier stored in your browser's local storage for the functional purpose described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If you clear your browser storage, a new anonymous identifier is generated on your next visit.
Where your data lives
This website and its database are self-hosted on our own server in Patna, Bihar, India — not on any third-party cloud. Information you submit stays on that server and is accessible only to SelfHostSolutions for the purposes described here.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to follow up and maintain our business records. Anonymous usage data may be retained to understand long-term trends. You can ask us to delete information relating to you at any time.
Your choices and rights
Consistent with the spirit of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal information you have shared with us. Email mail@selfhostsolutions.com and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we'll update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
